Lantern Street (1977)

Lantern Street 1977 / 燈籠街 1977 / Deng long jie

A stranger arrives on Lantern Street and is seen buying funeral lanterns and a coffin. It turns out he is an assassin hired to kill two men. He barters with both to see if they will up his pay leaving the loser dead. The marked men are unwilling to give up their lives so easily and though long time rivals, put aside their differences and work together to defeat the assassin. Of course, all is not as it seems...
