Autumn Moon is a low-rent triad struggling to find meaning in his hopelessly violent existence. He takes up a debt collecting job with his slow-witted sidekick Sylvester under his wing. During one of his operations he becomes infatuated with an attractive girl named Ping who is suffering from renal failure and requires a kidney transplant. Seeing this as an opportunity to do something meaningful, he embarks on a mission to save her while trying to survive in the criminal underworld.
