Mammoth Tower 1958 / マンモスタワー 1958 / Manmosutawa

Kuroki, the head of the production department, was skeptical about the old-fashioned production policy at the movie company where he worked. He was thinking about bringing in a new actress who is the daughter of a former silent movie activist Benshi but she is recruited as an exclusive talent of a TV station. Many actors were leaving the movies to work on television at this time and the movie industry was feeling threatened. This all takes place during the construction of the Tokyo Tower.
