Fifth instalment in the Megalopolis Expressway franchise that despite its title follows the well worn conventions of the series. A street racer, who dominates the racing of his local town, proves his metal by heading to the Tokyo Expressway to prove he can be the street racing king. He participates in a number of races, with one ending with the fatal crash of his competitor. Film ends with the now familiar story of the street racer taking up the safer sport of drifting. As per normal, GTR Skylines figure prominently.
