Mentai Piriri 2019 / めんたいぴりり 2019 /

Set in Fukuoka City during the 1950's, Toshiyuki and his wife Chiyoko runs a small grocery store in the Nakasu district of Fukuoka. Toshiyuki is enthusiastic about making mentaiko (walleye pollack roe usually served salted and spiced with red pepper). He is not satisfied with his mentaiko, but he puts effort into making it in which he can accept. One day, he hears about young Eiko's pitiful situation from his son Kenichi.
