After he is hit by a car in a cover-up attempt by a corrupt pharmaceutical company, Shoutaro Ishikawa is accidentally given a packet of Count Dracula's blood during a transfusion. He dies during the operation but revives one year later with vampiric abilities. With his newfound powers, Ishikawa seeks to clear his name and reunite with his wife and daughter, all while he is being cared for by Dracula enthusiast Yuzuko Takei.
