Omoide Shashin 2021 / おもいで写眞 2021 / Photograph of Memories , おもいでしゃしん

Regretting that all the photos she has left of her grandmother are blurry, a young woman becomes a funeral portrait photographer. However, through her interactions with local elders, the purpose of her job shifts, and she is now taking ‟photographs of memories‟, slowly coming to understand forgiveness and discovering the meaning of life.
