Takewaki Shoichi, who retired at the age of 65 as a trading company man, collapses in a subway on the way home from a farewell party and is taken to the intensive care unit of a hospital. Shoichi, who has not regained consciousness, wanders thru his past with a mysterious beauty. Is he dying? Or maybe a journey, close to out of body experience, has other meaning?
