Yi Yi, an office worker, and Ah Juan, a woman working in a garment factory, are separated by a wall in the industrial district of Dongguan. The two are unacquainted and live seemly unrelated lives, but their paths intersect through the appearance of a ‟peacock.‟ As they navigate their own dilemmas in the pursuit of their dreams, they make their own answers to life.
