A documentary that records the last two years of Yujiro Takahashi, a Japanese folk song singer and Tsugaru shamisen master who passed away in September 2012. Born in Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture in 1934, Yujiro moved to Tokyo in 1955 with carpentry tools and a shamisen. Impressed by Michiya Mihashi's show at the Asakusa International Theater, he throws away carpentry tools and enters the world of folk songs. Yujiro, who formed the Tsugaru Shamisen Ensemble ‟Yujiro Takahashi & KAZE‟ and was active in various parts of Japan and overseas, has been in close contact with him for two years before he died of illness. He captures the human image from various angles, such as the lively appearance and performance of the past days, the scenery of the rehearsal hall, and the words and facial expressions exchanged with the disciples.
