Liu Jinglun is interning with his Master Ren, at a photography shop known as ‟Fengtai Photography Shop‟. An Englishmen Raymond Wallace interrupts the photo session talking about 'shadow play' or 'moving pictures'. He's ignored by everyone expect Jinglun who comes to see it and advertise it to the point where even the empress Dowager wants to see it.
