The story takes place over the years, so although the title has not been divided into seasons, it consists of three conventional parts. In the first one, we meet Akiko who, taking a false identity, wants to find the murderer of her twin sister Rinko. In the second, taking place six years later, we learn about Akiko's life as a prostitute. The third one focuses on family secrets and memory loss by one of the characters, and Akio's relative, Yohei.
