After dreaming of a land of sweets, Hiyoko gets pulled into an animated world through the hole of a doughnut. While there, she meets a girl named Tamako and a mysterious creature called Kokkubo. Hiyoko begins visiting the animated world on a daily basis and Tamako visits the real world by taking up residence in her body.
