The show featured eleven teams of two, each in a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the Philippines. This season introduced a new twist, called the ‟Duel‟, where teams had to compete head-to-head in a pre-determined challenge, where winning teams can move on to the next challenge, while the losing team had to wait for new challengers.
