    The Burmese Harp 1956 / ビルマの竪琴 1956 / Biruma no tategoto , Harp of Burma

    At the end of World War II, in Burma, Private Mizushima is a harp player in his platoon. When he is separated from his fellow soldiers and believed to be dead, Mizushima disguises himself as a Buddist monk and finds spiritual enlightenment.
