The sedentary people, the establishment, has a sense of insecurity and rejection about the migrants, which may be due to self-discontent. This film deals with an uncomfortable power relation between migrant workers and the majority group of a society and the perspective that the director portrays is the one from the majority. Shim Hyejung’s films intersect with her contemporary works of art and the artist tries to challenge the boundaries between the genres.
