Gwak Du Shik is an unknown boxer working at the sawmill. His ambitions cause him to never be satisfied with his present life. Hye Mi is an art student who falls for Du Shik while visiting him with a friend. When Du Shik visits Hye Mi and her high class family, he is humiliated and they begin to drift apart. Du Shik tries to turn to a life of crime to forget about Hye Mi but is reformed by Detective Pak's warmhearted personality. With Pak's help, he wins a title match and seeks out Hye Mi.
