Ko Sing is well-versed in both literature and martial arts. He is an official, yet he is the one Emperor Kin Lung goes to whenever he has something difficult to solve. Sing goes to Yangzhou to search for the emperor's lover, Yu Yee. He finds out that Yee has been sold to the owner of a renowned brothel, So Sam. The Brothel is, in fact, a shelter for helpless girls. Not realizing this, Sing misconstrues that Sam forces young girls to participate in prostitution. Yee is involved in a murder case. Sam, who is also known as the ‟Chivalrous Prostitute‟, tries hard to save her. It is only then that Sing understands Sam.
