Words spread around the school. ‟Hey, you know Sung Jin's father is a documentary producer, right? Last week he brought a strange sort of fever with him from South America. ‟ The students turn strange one by one as time passes by. Left alone among her friends, Hee Su notices something approaching towards her each moment. The crying voice from the hallway each night, the indescribable footsteps left on the floor, and the fish-rotting stench that lingers in the air slowly drive her into the utmost horror. Friends who once stood by Hee Su suddenly treat her like air. When even Ji Hyeon, whom she trusted until the last moment denies Hee Su's senses, she breaks down and bursts out of the class.
