In the Southern Song Dynasty, heroine Shang Yen Chih undertakes a dangerous journey to join her comrade Chen Yang Xin in Dragon City, a military base controlled by the Jin regime to find a map showing the deployment of the resistance army against the northern invaders. On her arrival, Yen Chih immediately learns that Chen, with his whole family, has been executed by a Jin general, Bu Lung. Following the track of Bu Lung in order to search for the map, Yen Chih eventually finds out to her surprise that this long-term foe is in fact a Song ally who has been working as an undercover.
